The GCSB Bill has passed its third reading in Parliament tonight, by 61 votes to 59.

Prime Minister and Minister Responsible for GCSB John Key welcomed the passing of the legislation.

"Despite ill-informed claims to the contrary, nothing in this legislation allows for wholesale spying on New Zealanders. It actually tightens, not widens, the existing regime,'' Mr Key said.

Taranaki Rebels sentenced for 2011 operation by New Zealand Police

Taranaki Rebels sentenced for 2011 operation by New Zealand Police. A number of people were charged as a result of this operation. Sentencing judge Justice Stephen Kos labelled the Rebels' drug-dealing as a Mickey Mouse outfit.

The judge while sentencing also gave the following comment

It was somewhat "grandiose" to describe Dewar as the president of the Taranaki chapter of the Rebels, a gang that had just three members and one motorcycle among them, the judge said.

GCSB law should not pass! Public Meeting 19th August 2013 Auckland Town Hall

The left wing kicked into gear this week arranging a public meeting to be held at the town hall, I am going to hear what is said as I oppose this bill fully. Granting the government the right to eavesdrop without warrant is against the constitution of our country, whatever is dictated by the USA is applied here in godzone. Just to hear Kim Dotcom speak will be interesting to say the least and the rest of the line up will be an  insightful experience. New Zealand you must stop this bill becoming law!

COPS on TV channel FOUR

Watched recently the longest running and very first reality television program “COPS” on channel FOUR. It has the theme song Bad Boys done by a Reggae band called Inner Circle song link here. The song is also names sake for the Movie Bad Boys both 1 and 2 about two fictional Florida Police Detectives played by actors Will Smith and Martin Lawrence.

On this particular show, an American medicinal cannabis grower (she had permits) called the police because a neighbour had jumped the fence and stole one of her plants why cant New Zealand be the same? A.C.A.B believes the cannabis laws here need to take immediate action to adopting the current trend of the USA where a number of states have already achieved changing the law to allow it to be legal to possess. There have been recently NZ media articles here of medically impaired people being convicted still of growing a medicinal supply. Fined convicted or imprisoned for something far less harmful the demon drink alcohol.

Cannabis does have a place in medicine ask a cancer patient who is receiving chemotherapy and smokes a little cannabis to overcome the rigorous treatment and regain their appetite.

Last of the Old School - Peter Fulcher has died Stuff.co.nz

Media announcement of the death of Peter Fulcher aged 72, 1970s enforcer of the Mr Asia drug ring. For the first time on this blog A.C.A.B admits his father was a 32 veteran of the New Zealand police. A.C.A.B heard a number of stories relating to Peter Fulcher growing up, jobs he had done and got away with or better said was suspected of. He heard of detectives drinking in the Auckland Central Police Bar would phone his lady of the time and tell her they had him under surveillance and he was cheating on her with another woman they did it as a bar joke setting him up for roasting when he got home when in fact they didn't have a clue what he was doing. Even A.C.A.B's elder brother another 17 year veteran of the New Zealand Police (no longer thank god) has told him of actions of this man. His Modeus Operandi so to speak.

http://www.stuff.co.nz/national/crime/8945566/One-of-Mr-Asias-last-dies

A.C.A.B never met Peter Fulcher but knows he remained somewhat active till death. He is survived by his partner Helen Lupton and two children. A.C.A.B is embarrassed by his law enforcement family connections but admits hes known of this character for a very long time. He was one of the last of the Old School.
